Martin’s approach to exploring Mindfulness with others is embedded in his personal practice of over a decade. He works with integrity, openness and with consideration of the individuals and groups with whom he is working. His style is to support those he is working with to be curious about their life as it is, and to develop the capacity to explore new possibilities when facing challenges and difficulties.
Martin follows the Good Practice Guidance for UK Based Mindfulness Teachers. He has trained to deliver Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) with Bangor University and is trained to teach ‘.b Foundations’ to school staff as well as ‘.b’ and Pawsb to young people of all ages. Martin has a background in education and working with groups in the outdoors. He has a PGCE and a Masters in education research. Martin and his family live in the South Lakes.
