MA (Early Years) Cert. Ed. (Qualified Teacher Status) EYP.

Over 40 years of experience in teaching and pre-school education.

Passionate about leading the group to ensure all children achieve and are prepared for school in accordance with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum).

David Hartley

Co-founder of the business with over 30 years of experience in the market sector.

Works closely with parents on all financial and administrative matters and assists in ensuring the many funding streams are accessible and used to obtain the best value package for parents.

Ben Hartley

BA 1st Class Hons.

(Early Years) Qualified Teacher Status & Early Years Inspector

A company director who was born into and grown up in the business for 30 years.

Ben acts as our advisor on all curriculum and operational matters and provides cover in all areas of the business when needed.

Brenda Hawkins

Cert. Ed. (Qualified Teacher Status)

Over 35 years of experience in teaching and pre-school education with specialist knowledge in reception class needs and totally committed to special needs education.

Teaches swimming to the pre-school children.

Lyndsey Hartley

Early Years Foundation Stage – Level 5 Qualification.

Lyndsey joined the setting as an apprentice and has worked extremely hard working her way to now being the nursery deputy manager and group leader of our 1-3 age group.

Very passionate about the progression of the children and the nursery and is responsible for looking at new and innovative ways of improving our practice.

Joan Brothers

NNEB Level 3.

Joined the nursery staff from the very beginning over 30 years ago and continues to be totally committed and enthusiastic about the children’s progress.

Jayne Brothers

Has worked within the setting in various roles for over 25 years and is deputy leader of the pre-school group.

Highly motivated and enthusiastic in delivering music dancing and movement sessions throughout the nursery based on our weekly themes.

Bernice Kambanis

NVQ Level 3.

Currently works within our pre-school group but has also had previous experience working with our younger age group children.

Helps children settle during transition periods.

Julie Gardiner

NVQ Level 3.

Very experienced nursery nurse and former school classroom assistant.

Has many years of experience and training in children with special needs or learning difficulties.

Michelle Coffee

Apprentice | Working Towards NVQ Level 2.

Our youngest member of the team who joined us direct from school.

A very enthusiastic all-rounder.

Michelle Hawkins

NVQ Level 5.

Provides back up in our 1-3 year’s age group as deputy group leader and helps to lead the team by example through total commitment and dedication.

Sophie Course

NVQ Level 3.

Joined us from college and helps to deliver the curriculum within our 1-3 year’s age group.

Hannah Ives

NVQ Level 3.

Hannah joined the team having previously worked as a classroom assistant within a school.

Becky Gardiner

NVQ Level 2.

Recently completed her training and hopes to move on to NVQ Level 3 shortly.

Enjoys working with our younger age group children providing care and nurturing.

Tamzin Williams

BA (English Literature).

Recently joined us having spent 10 years in Japan teaching English as a foreign language to Japanese children.

Sue Jefferey

Catering Manager & Qualified Cook.

Enthusiastically provides the nursery children and staff with wholesome delicious food.

Enjoys making cakes, biscuits and trying out new recipes and ideas.

Recently obtained 5 Star Rating in Food Preparation, health and hygiene.

Keith Laver

Site Supervisor.

Maintains the toys, equipment and carries general property repairs together with keeping our garden and playground areas clean and bright.
