Tercentenary Charity Event

It is so humbling when a local organisation pick The Oaks Playscheme as their charity for the year. Here at The Oaks we’ve been blown away by the generosity and genuine care and interest shown by others in what we do!

Kim and I were lucky enough to be invited to attend the Tercentenary Charity Event at the Masonic Lodge in Bordon where we were invited to speak alongside what felt like one hundred other local charities! It is awe-inspiring to hear what other local people and groups are doing in our area that truly make a difference to the lives of others, young and old. There are so many fantastic and worthwhile good causes in such a small area of the world! It brings a some peace to hear about these people when the National News is so very bleak.

The Oaks Playscheme were given £250 by the Friendship Lodge no.928 and I’ve no doubt that Kim and her team will love finding out what our children might choose to spend it on!! Thanks to everyone who chooses to support us. Without these funds we would not be able to provide the children with the activities and visits that they love so much.
