My “First Drive” is a perfect introduction to advanced driving techniques and serves as a blank canvas for me to assess your driving. From here we will agree a detailed action plan of areas to work on to improve your overall safety, enjoyment of driving, and efficiency. A perfect gift for a recently qualified driver, or someone looking to develop their attitude behind the wheel.
MOTORWAY DRIVING
Confidence boosting training to help you drive safely and smoothly on the motorway network. From how to join and leave safely, through to practical tips to enhance your enjoyment of driving on the motorway. We will also cover manging your safety in the event of a breakdown and tips to help prevent this happening in the first place. I will also share secrets of the smart motorway system to help you get the best from it. This course is ideal for new drivers looking to build their confidence.
PERSONAL SAFETY: PARKING & MANOEUVRING
Let me help take the stress out of parking and manoeuvring with some easy and practical tips to take the sting out of parking. Car parks can be a source of stress, but I will show you the secrets to make a shopping trip or visit to a town or city centre venue a walk in the park. As with all of my training courses, your safety is our main concern so I will share some secret ‘nuggets’ that will make using carparks not just easier, but safer.
ADVANCED DRIVING TEST PREPARATION / PART 2 ADI
Ideal for an experienced driver to hone their skills ready for their advanced driving test. As a qualified driving instructor for many years, I can also help prepare you for the ADI Part 2, Test of Driving Ability.
RETURNING TO DRIVING / POST INCIDENT COURSE
Ideal for an experienced member of the driving community to regain their confidence after a period of not driving, or to return to driving after an incident. I will work with you to identify the barriers, and to form plans that will work to an efficient barrier resolution.
UK FAMILIARISATION
I will show drivers new to this country how to use the roads safely and efficiently. From understanding the differences in road procedure, to the laws about driving responsibly and safely. This is a full day of training with a theory course and practical on road training session.
The course is tailored more to an experienced driver who requires some assistance in adjusting to the rules and regulations required to drive competently in Great Britain.
